The big talk of infusion is at place. I'm sort of confused with the concept. I know that from reading the search button, its used to reduce the damage from the "spectral agony" spell from the Mursaat but various other aspects but I couldn't find exactly information where to obtain the quest and what to do?

Please if you have any information, share, I beg of you all :|.

You can infuse your gear in the mission Iron Mines of Moludurne (Is that how you spell it?) It is the 2nd Southern Shiverpeaks mission (you reach after ascension). The mission consists of 2 parts, first to get your equip infused, then to kill Markis. However, when you infuse, only 1 part of your armor will be infused, so if you want full protection against the Mursaat, you'd have to run it 5 times. However, you'll find a lot of people there who wants to infuse too, so you can easily find infusion runs where the groups just run to the place where you're supposed to get your equips infused, and then start over again.

Don't worry infusion runs are easy I did it with just henchmen really quick and killed markis with only two parts of my armor infused also with just the henchmen.

takes a while to infuse all your gear.........but its pretty easy........run to the cave........fight some monsters.........REPEAT

Yup Henchies can do the run easy and it's not that long into the mission to get the infuse part.
And other players will get annoyed if you try to do the next quests with only 1 part infuse. (As you will die in seconds with only 20% protection!)
You will see many people calling out for players with 100% infuse for missions.

Alright. So I've made it to Iron Caves of Moludane and I essentially started out the mission, killing all the white mantle in the way and some of the summit with the henchmen. But once I came upon the area of Jade armors and the couple of Muraats, I was out of luck. It was at the prime of the mission still, so how do I exactly get past this part?

Can you add or remove runes to infused armor? or once it is infused that is it?

Getting a piece infused does not complete the mission. The primary mission objective is to kill Markis.

I killed Markis with henchmen without getting fully infused. I forgot to bring my signet of capture (I'm a ranger primary) so I couldn't capture barrage. I'll get it on my next infusion run I suppose.

You can do anything you'd normally do to a piece of armor. It's just an additional statistic on the armor.

Do NOT infuse your armor until you have the end-game armor. Otherwise you'll have to repeat the infusion process.

No, you get to Markis at the very end of the mission. In fact, he is the end of the mission, the Seer is about 1/2 way into the mission and you kill a "demon or spirit" (don't remember the wording they ended up on) for him to earn an infuse.

Not really, there are apparently 3 quests where you can get infused. We (us players) just love to run this one over and over as it is less hassle.
